Responsible for the decorations of the main foyer and Christmas dance, and participating in the fund-raiser for Ethiopia, the club helped maintain and enhance the joyous atmosphere of the season. V ,V CHESS The S.W.C. chess club had a membership of about 25 students. In the fall, a school tournament was held with the following results: lst - Robert Woods KIZJ, 2nd - Andre Min CIOJ, 3rd - Mike Welburn 1123, 4th - Brian Wanslabeen Cllj, 5th - Susan Kim 1125, and 6th - Carol Fox fl lj. Every May, an inter-school competition has been held. ln the past ten years, S.W.C. has finished first nine times. XXX. of COMPUTER This year, members of the computer club learned how to program Commodore Computers - CBM 8032, Superpets and Com- modore 64's.
