Down in Theatre Churchill, we had an exhilarating year. Overall, there was a greater number of tens, increasing the entire size of the Drama Group. For this group, things like last minute scenes CSneak Previewsj, forgotten lines fAn Evening with Shakespearej, cast parties, Annie Get your Gun,', the spring musical, and a production written and directed by a student were prominent events of the year. The restructuring of Sneak Previews was also an important change ftoo bad the audience couldnit have been more structuredl. Generally, Theatre Churchillu was a place where aspiring stars got together and shared their talents. It was also a place of learning - learning about drama, learning about people, and learning about life. More importantly, it was a place full of good times. tj

An important event for the Drama Dept this year was the school production of Annie Get Your Gunf, Involving close to 200 staff members and students, the musical ran from May 27-30. The plot of this musical concerned the fabulous career of sharpshooter Annie Oakley QPam Ollerenshawj and her love for Frank Butler tEwan McLarenJ. The action took us from the outskirts of Calgary all the way to the eastern coast of the U,S., where, after great difficulty, Annie finally got her man. Annie Get Your Gun was very suc- cessful during its run. All four show dates were characterized by full audiences who were extremely impressed and appreciative of the talents and efforts of everyone in- volved. IMIL 110
