Working in conjunction with self-government and school au- thorities, the Council handled the decisions to rnany cases and saw to it that the penalties were enforced. Fines, compositions and assigned protects were used as means ot reprirnanding stu- dent violators. The Activities Council con- sists of representatives of all clubs and committees on campus, class vice-presidents and the student body secre- tary, with the student body vice-president presiding. A set of by-laws clarifying conditions of membership, a schedule of club and commit- tee meetings to avoid conflict- ing meeting days and a master plan for all student body activi- ties during Spirit Week were maintained by the Council to keep Drake's extracurricular calendar planned and efficient.
