Membership consists of all committee heads and student body officers, plus a representative from the publications department. The student body president presides over all meetings. The Representative As- sembly continued its suc- cess as a forum for the dis- cussion and solution of school government prob- lems. Meeting twice a month in room 1l3, repre- sentatives from each first period class passed bills and made decisions con- cerninq finance, student legislation and improve- ments in student qovern- ment procedure. Proposi- tion passed early in the year by the Assembly, and later by student body majority vote, created a Speaker who relieved the student body president as head of the Assembly.
