Verle Sorgen Coach FROSH BASKETBALL Drake's treshman basketball team, under the direction oi Coach Verle Sorgen, fielded one of the smallest teams in frosh history. This tact Worked to their disadvantage throughout the season, and the trosh team lost many of its games by small margins. Although not compiling an outstanding season record, the trosh showed desire, speed and ability which promises to aid the B and l.V. teams of the future. North Bay League golf matches are scored with one point for low score on the first nine holes, one on the second nine and one final point for the lowest total score after 18 holes. loe Rooney's racket swingers, although not leading the league, gained experience that will undoubtedly terrorize opposing teams in the future.
