Mi' 6 Although faced with a bleak season, the varsity basketball team under Coach Bob Fitzhenry molded itself into one of the top teams in the North Bay League. Working hard to perfect themselves, the Pirates ran up against stiff competition from the more experienced San Francisco schools: consequently, their practice rec- ord Was not too impressive. 4-op lohn Giesea Captain Albert Lavin Coach C BASKETBALL Lack of height and experience plagued a rather unsuccessful but hard-playing C basketball team, coached by Mr. Albert Cappy Lavin. Though the C's were never victorious, they gained experience which will be valuable for playing in future years. The C's lost many of their games by small margins often leading throughout most of a game only to be defeated' in the final minutes.
