xt 4 . J' ' F' R -55-'Q One who takes the lead-this is how Webster defines a principal, and this is how We, the graduating class of 1959, define our principal, Mr. Harold Allison. In his eight years of administrative duty, Mr. Allison has led Sir Francis Drake High School toward achieving higher aca- demic standards, toward attaining good citizenship by its students, and toward becoming a school of which its community is proud. A graduate of Tarnalpais High School, Mr. Allison returned there to teach chemistry and serve as a coun- selor. Mr. Allison was appointed Drake's first assistant vice-principal: he became principal in the spring of 1953. It is to Mr. Allison for his outstand- ing job in leadership that We grate- fully dedicate this book.
