The Finance Committee, under the able supervision of fall treasurer Jo Ann Meredith and spring treasurer Gene Deichler, had complete charge of the school finances. Besides selling tickets at the games and other activities, the committee was also responsible, in the fall, for the selling of 728 student body cards. ln the rinv the committee was in charge of budgeting all funds for next year's student SP ew body activities. The fall Awards Committee, under the supervision of Pal Peters and spring committee with Bob lVlcCrath as head, took care of awarding Varsity, Lightweight, Frosh-Soph, and MC blocks in football, basketball, tennis, golf, swimming, and baseball, besides awarding gold basketballs to the championship Lightweight basketball team, The awards were made by the Student Congress upon the recom- mendation of the Awards Committee which in turn considered the recommenda- tions of the coaches.
