sloux RAPIDS comm The Junior Class of Sioux Rapids High School hosted the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom, An Old Fashioned Love Song, on the evening of April the twelfth, Nineteen Hun- dred Seventy-Five, at Stub's Ranch Kitchen in Spencer. A buffet-style dinner featuring chicken and barbequed beef was served. Following the meal, Carol Ludwig, the president of the Junior class, gave the opening welcome. Lora Edwardson followed with the Senior Class response. The seniors then entertained us with their Remember When's. Closing remarks were provided by lVIike Rivers, the Hall-of- Fame disc jockey from WOW Radio in Omaha. There was a fine turnout for the following dance, hosted by IVlr. Rivers. The juniors and seniors arrived home in Sioux Rapids about midnight. 40

JUNIOR PLAY Junior Class Play This year's Junior Class Play was called The Solid Gold Chevrolet by Donald R. Stieper. This 3-act play was directed by Shari Knapp. It was about a family, the Wilkensis, that are caught up in the energy crunch and shortage and the humourous situa- tions that arise from them. SKIP DAY 1975 SKIP DAY The 1975 Senior Class traveled to Kansas City, Missouri on Nlay 8, 1975. Nlr. and Nlrs. Ed Schultz, Miss Carol Gossard, and lVIr. Steve Nicholson accompanied the Seniors to keep them out of trouble. They visited the Crown ' ' ' ' ' ' K C't Z o Frida Center which is a large shopping center with an international cafe. They went to the ansas I y o y afternoon. The sixteen students also went to the Antiock shopping center. They enjoyed Worlds of Fun Friday night. They traveled back to Sioux Rapids Saturday, Nlay 10, 1975.
