STUDENT SENATE Handling the affairs of student government at S.F.C. is a ten-member council elected by the students. In the spring of '47 the following officers were elected to serve this year's term: Glen Soule, President, Dorothy Williams, Vice-President, Martha Burch, Secretaryg and Bob Nichols, Treasurer. The other members elected from each class are Liz Smith, Senior, Palmer Watson, Junior, Burt Kruger, Sophomoreg and Don Frost, Freshman. Bob Olson and June Beaver are Members-at-large. The responsibilities which have confronted the Student Senate this year are handling of student-body finances, student publications,-Purple Feather and Who's Who awards, and student elections. They also have charge of the planning of a social calendar. Friday chapels, which have been reserved for student body meetings, are directed by Palmer Watson. The Student Senate holds an important place at S.F.C. and their responsibilities are accepted with a great amount of zeal and interest.
