Watching the Time Run Out With the shrill of the first vvhistle, the clock began to tick off the minutes for the maroon and white. With the odds against them at the offset, the Pirates refused to give up the ship. Starting in the heat of August, they practiced hard and facing their strong opposition, they played hard. They took each loss with Pirate Pride that good coaches and loyal fans help to build. The hands of the clock did not stop for victories or the defeats but moved on. Watching time run out, the stalwart team anchored their season vvith a 1-8-l record. ' lay Hellums tries to get the team's attention. Pirate offense anxiously awaits to get back on the field.
