9 2W GHauS en We, the Senior Class of 1976, express with great sadness the loss of one of our classmates and a dear friend. Our hearts are filled with sorrow and grief when we realize that David is no longer with us. We miss him greatly and will think of him often. As we are getting ready to close this 1976 school year, Simpson High School, pays tribute to the memory of one of our lower classmen who passed away in 1975. We regret with great sorrow the loss of this young student, who is no longer in our presence. We the Senior Class of 1976 will be graduating soon. We will have a special spot in our heart for such memories as, being able to have a close relationship with each of our teachers and them caring for and understanding us. As editor I would like to give a very sincere thanks to the following people for the long and hard hours they have spent in this yearbook: Jessie Finally, 1 would like to especially thank the faculty and student body for making this yearbook possible and may it bring you fond and happy memories. David, our brother, demonstrated in his daily life who he was in these relationships. He saw himself as a special and valuable part of God's creation and felt a strong obligation to use his abilities as God would have him. David felt a responsibility to be loyal to himself and to make his life rewarding. We think that David saw him as using his many skills and his persistence to achieve the goals he set for himself. In dealing with others, David was straightforward and firm in his convictions and yet was able to listen qui- etly and radiate warmth to those alone with the hurts and frustrations of their lives. In so many different circumstances David used his strong, rich personality to bring happiness and courage to his life and to lives of others. We feel that David looked at his life with satisfaction as he lived with clear purposes and great honesty. Each member of our family thinks of David, who had such an eagerness to live, with tenderness as his presence in our lives brought us much joy and in times of personal stress, inner peace. We are proud of David and are thankful to God for the years we were able to know him. Now each of us are awakened to a new committment to add to our lives those qualities that distinguished David's life. This page is paid for by Gail Clausen Bram, Philip Clausen, Melvin Bram.
