THE BRONCO Simpson High School Simpson, Louisiana 1 As you glance through the pages of your new 1974 BRONCO, you might want to consider the work, effort, and determination needed in completing such an annual. I have considered this. I feel an obligation to give recognition where recognition is needed. Thank you. Miss Karen Lewis, for being a most efficient business manager and for possessing the abundance of patience needed in such a position. You were there when we needed you. When times were busy, you've always managed to lend a spare hand to help someone. Thank you, Missjan Coleman, whose almost universal abilities were much in demand by everyone of the staff. Jan would continually go from one section of the annual to the other while lending assistance in any way possible. Her versatility will be remembered by us always. Thankyou, Mr. MikeCooley, for being a most excellent and industrious worker. When something needed to be done, you had the gumption to do it. Your sense of completion will most certainly carry you a long way. Thank you, Mrs. Bonita Lord, whose creative talents compose a large portion of this annual. Bonita is alwayswillingtotry something different and strives to be original. When we were fresh out of ideas, Bonita could always come up with more. Thank you, Mr. Lewis, for being a very able sponsor and a very fine man for us to work under. In times of our mishaps and problems, you saw through them and guided us with your kindness and leadership. Finally, a very special thanks to the faculty and student body of Simpson High School for completing the most important job of all. After all, you made the year. This 1974 BRONCO is merely a re- flection of that year. May this yearbook bring back many happy memories that will endure forever. 2 Mark Lepire Editor No, use this one Hard at work Final copy Purchasing yearbook Bottom: STANDING: Wayne Lewis - Sponsor, Mike Cooley - Subscriptions.
