In autumn the football team was somewhat of a surprise as they posted their best season ever, 8 wins, 2 losses, and l tie. The cross country record was 3 wins, 3 losses, and Don Elbert qua- lified for the state meet. Winter began and the basketball team started with much promise, but their regular season turned out only mediocre, sometimes even disappointingly. The basketball then ca-me alive and ended the sea- son on a happy note as they de- feated Dixie for the District Championship. In spring sports, track and baseball had many young members. The track squad finished the season with a Hne 8 wins, l loss, l tie, and the baseball team ended with a respectable 8 wins and 8 losses record. f ---Yv-YL - L f - f-L-Lv-we '--f -+---f 1 1 1. - - - - Football ah! r L ,, ,. , L .aaa-,Z --Q A . Soon there will be stars in the sky as another day comes to an end. As the sun has set on the horizon, so the school year of 1968-69 has come to a conclu- sion. To each who was involved, this record has contained many memories of joy, laughter, tears, and sorrow. Although the year has ended, for many this is only the beginning.
