l CLASS PROPHECY As l gaze into my crystal hall, l see the changes years have hrunght in the class of '-Io since they graduated from S.K.H.S. They have grown older :mtl wiser and now as I look again, I can see different faces through the mist. the first to appear is l3ET'l'Y PETZINGER. who st'll seems tn he looking for a man taller than she, next. I see lilLLlER'l' BECK, CHARLES COOPER, Mr, and Mrs, HERISERT WORKS Knee ,IILL YATESJ. and Mr. and Mrs. WYNFORD RILEY Knee Joan Reckerl who are living on neighboring farms, Next I see a row of figures in white. they seem to he nurses. yes, and among them I see several girls of '46, HELEN CODE, DORIS HAND, JEAN RECKER. and LAVERNE KLEIN. Many of the girls are secretaries. VIRGINIA JACKSON is non' a stenographer for a company nianufacturing television sets, JOY WORKS is a private secretary to a well-known doctor. EVELYN SCIIERDER is taking' dietatiun from GENE PIPER, Superintendent of Kenton County Schools, ERMA LANDRUM types for a lawyer in lValtun. I see BOBBY XYILSON, who is now coach for the Dixie Heights Little Colonelsf' DELORES SCHULKER is chief donut maker at Irlill's lirocery in Covington. There are several girls who have succeeded in their life 'long ambitious, they are ,lEANE'l l'E GRUBBS, a pharmacist, ANN MAY- IIUGII. a journalist, and RITA FAULKNER, a well-kuuwn designer. VIRGINIA liISK is now owner tat lastl of ANP Super Market at l0th and Madison, ROSALIE til..-XZA. JEAN BINDER, FRANCIS MQCAY. and MARLIYN MeCORMAL'K are airline hostesses on various transeontinental passenger planes, GEN' EVA MADDOX is now a great Metropolitan Opera Star. JOE MESSING, I see as :ni electrical en- gineer. XYARNER COX is now a jockey and will ride Blue Hoy in the Kentucky Derby. His managers are JOIIN R. RICH and BILLY MAS- TERS. MABEL LEE BENSON is a well-known hair stylist and has as her assistant ALLENE MILLS. OPAL IIYATT, who married in her senior year is now teaching her twins' to he hepeats. JACK CONNER has been chosen as the Senator frcnn Kentucky and is doing very well in Congress with RI.'Tl'I JLISTICE as his chief adviser on campaign speeches. BETTYE SUE L,'Al.DlYELI.. is using her lungs now tn order her hushainl and children around. ESTII. LEE KID- XYELI. is now the secund Clark Gable of Holly- wood and his press agent is BILLY GENE EADS. CARROLL CARTER and LLOYD ELLlO'l I' are dancing teachers in New York, Carroll's specialty is waltzing. PAUL REINERSMAN and HAROLD BAKER are editors of Life On A Farm. BILLY TOMLIN and ALBERT JASKE are working on plans for another college in Kentucky. It is to join Simon Kenton I-Iligh School. MILDRED BECK is now living in Arizona where she is a photographer, MARY K. BEAULE and VIRGINIA PEEBLES are celebrating their Sth wedding anniversary and seem to he very happily married. JEAN BINDEL and STELLA IIEERS are world travelers and have made several trips around the world. JAMES GOSNEY is now an engineer un the LKN Railroad.- ESTIIER KELLEY, who is working in a chemistry laboratory. has helped to perfect an invention more powerful than the Atomic Bnmlx. GRANVILLE DEATI-IERAGE has now taken General MaeArthur's place in Japan. RUSSELL ABERNATHY is a traveling salesman. TOMMY BARNETT, to the surprise of all has heeome the loudest and hes! tobacco auctiuneer in Kentucky. RUBY COOK is now teaching ls! year Spanish at S. K. and MARY HOPE CHIP- MAN is a teacher at Piner Elementary School. GENE KELLY is driving a sightseeing hns in New York. . My magic powers have ended and my prophecy is at a close. all of my predictions may not come trne but I hope all the boys and girls in the graduating class of '-I6 will always remember Simon Kenton High School.
