The Eighth Grade Sponsor, Mrs. Bertha D. Woods Our class began in September with twenty members. Since that time we have had five withdrawals leaving an enrollment of fifteen. We have two sub-honor students in our class, Curtis Brady with an av- erage of 3.7 and Carole Carter 3.6. Our class had the highest scholastic record for the first semester. No student made below a D average for the first semester. The class has participated in the following activities: A radio program and two chapel programs. We have added a set of Encyclopedias, The Wonderland of Knowl- edge , three dictionaries, and twenty-five new books to our classroom library this year.
