INTRODUCING THE . . . Simmons College yearbook, MICROCOSM, year 1951. The object of the book was to furnish a record of the college year, its work, its fun, and its activities . . . and to try to make MICROCOSM represent the best traditions in the col- lege. With this in mind, the editors and staff members took pictures, wrote copy, produced layouts, made paste-up dummies, hustled advertisements and subscriptions until the finished product emerged — a kind of four-year diary, a tribute to and reminder of our student life.
