BARBARA ELDER Bwifzeff Mfznagef' THE MICRUCOSM ic, as is commonly known, is the Simmons College yearbook. Its name, Mitrocomz, which means little world is most significant since MIC aims to bring together in one volume the record of the academic year at Simmons. Formal senior portraits, more popular candid shots of college personalities, accounts of the various organizations for the current year, and flashes of such exciting aHairs as Daisy Chain and Old English Dinner4all in one. ln November we staged the first all-college formal ofthe year at the Statler, with Allan Curtis doing the honors. Mic owes much of its success to the fine cooperation of its staff members, but above all to faculty friends, to Mr. Playfair, its adviser, and to the many assistants in the offices who have answered our never-ending questions.
