In later years when memories reflect back over my Senior year at Simi Valley High, being Miss Simi Valley will be one of the events that made it most exciting. As Miss Simi Valley, I have had a happy and busy year. The experiences I enjoyed most were meeting new people, making new friends, and being part of the many 'Grand Openings' of various new stores. As a result of these duties, I have gained a sense of responsibility which I might never have gotten through any other challenge in life . I am proud to be Miss Simi Valley not only because it is an honor which enables me to belong to the commun- ity as a citizen of today, but it also has given me the singular honor of becoming a part of Simi Valley's history.
