In the early part of your senior year you had your first class party, when volley- ball, and dancing were enjoyed in the big gym, Then on December 23, 1953, you sponsored one of the biggest dances of the year, the annual Homecoming Dance. Many alumnae were present and Winter Wonderland made a beautiful setting, Remember the crazy costumes you donned the day of Senior Dress-up. In May you enjoyed your second senior party, At long last, in late spring, your high school days began to ebb: College visitation, Class night, and the seniors' trip to the coast came in quick succession. in connection with your last high school days. May your memories be pleasant, Then the big night when you marched up the aisle to receive your diplomas There are all things you will think of S li i if tr ' r . . .1 x College V1s1tat1on D r if .X F 9 ,,.. ni O MP1 1 Af MR. The reason is moving the chorus classes from the rnain building to the band room, Now your members can sing as loud as they please without disturbing the other classes. Some of the accomplishments of the long hours of practice were enjoyed by the people who attended the Christmas program. Your 80 plus members provided beautiful background music for the pag- eant. The first attempted mid-year band- chorus party became a success right after the Christmas program. Another project was singing in various churches on Sunday mornings. The anthems sung certainly added to the worship service and also gave the churches a chance to see what the chorus is doing as well as giving your members a chance to visit the dif- ferent churches. Your rnembers also worked hard and long for the annual spring concert with the hand. Another performance is singin for the Baccalaureate service of the graclzbuating class. This is the last time that your seniors sing with you in the group and also your last group appearance. ,fa 3. 'K ef rs' P 1 1 :fd :C ' fe . 4 .v x in pa J W, ggqzh Q. f ,.. ii F . W, : Sl 1. .
