It was sponsored by the Student Council and proceeds were applied to the purchase of a new piano for the auditorium. The high school candidates were: Randy Clay and Nancy Kay Clark, freshmeng Dean Ziegler and Celia Martin, sophomores: Barry Francis and Denise Cul- well, juniors: and Mikel Grady and Louise Kitchens, seniors. Crowned as high school King and Queen were sophomores, Celia Martin and Dean Ziegler. lid 5 The elementary candiates were: Warren Jarrett and Jena McFall, first gradeg Eric Patton and Judy Northcutt, second grade: Blaine Eddleman and Delinda Ziegler, third grade: Brandon Jarrett and Stacy May- field, fourth gradeg Carn Forbes and Bob Ann Whelchel, fifth grade: Doug Mclimsey and Kim Cornett, sixth gradeg Wayne Hut- sell and Carol Cobb, seventh grade: Jack Robertson and Robbie Martin, eighth grade. Crowned as grade school Prince and Princess were third graders, Delinda Ziegler and Blaine Eddleman.

State F F A Vree President Speaks at F.F.A. Banquet Brian Hall, State FFA vice-president, spoke at the annual Father-Son Banquet, on patriotism . John Burson, president, welcomed guests and Monroe Gates, sponsor, presented awards. Everyone enjoyed an evening meal catered by Sut- phen's of Amarillo.
