We hear older people talk about the good old days. I know something about them. The good old days were nothing to compare with your days of opportunity that lie ahead. Make good use of your golden opportunity. The past has had some good. Keep it. Discard the bad. When you have some time to think, try to find a better basic p rinc ipl e that would cure all the world's ills faster than the Golden Rule put into action. 777, if 777rwfm! I appreciate the sportsmanship and general attitude displayed by the student body this year. Always remember that if you are will- ing to sacrifice the time and energy re- quired, you can do anything you want to. Youhave but one life to spend---please spend it wisely. High School Principal Can you pick out the picture of the most important person in this annual? Here is a clue. He is a student in the Silverton School. He is important for the things that have been done for him and for what he may be rather than what he is now. The message that Iwould leave for you is a simple but beau- tiful message that another teacher left his students long ago! Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things arehonest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, what- soever things are of good report, do. Have you located the picture of that important person yet? How important he is depends on what he does. His name is YOU. Get acquainted with him. Grade School Principal
