To the Real people: This year has involved much transition on everyone's part. Proposition E and one-half and its effects have affected our yearbook, From Flesl to Reel, as well as everything else. To bring you, the students, a quality book, we have had to work hard. When we started out, we knew little about publishing and yearbooks. After much brain- storming, we came up with the idea of a movie theme. From this was born the title. lvloving along, each of us had to learn about picture cropping, writing, copy, layout, and just plain getting things done. Deadlines seemed to jump out at us at the most inopportune times, and we could often be found in room EEO when no one else was around. From Fleel to Fleal is an expression of the likes. talents, and spirits of the class of 'l SBE. lt is a book which shows fantasy-type ideas brought to real-life situations. We feel it captures our class both in pictures and in theme. In an age where the mass media has such a great effect on educational objectives and outcomes, the theme of our yearbook expresses so much more than just a book. It illustrates our past, present, and future in the form of expressing thoughts, hopes, and ideas. We have tried to show many aspects of school life at Silver Lake Fiegional l-l. S. and we know you will enjoy viewing it as much as we loved creating it. The class of 'I SBE is indeed a spectacular vision of the future, so we thought: You ought to be in pictures .
