DEDICA TIUN The class of 1974 feels that, as a class, we have worked hard together for the past four years. We feel that our class has been a most exemplary one, not only in its school spirit, but also in its unity and desire to work together to go places and to get things done. Because of this unique spirit, we feel the 1974 Torch should be dedicated to all members of the class. However, if it weren't for the hard work of many special people we wouldn't have been as successful as we have been. There are many people whom we feel have con- tributed a great deal of time and effort for our benefit. It is our belief that they deserve a great deal of recognition, and we would like to thank them now. To Mr. Dries, we are indebted for his willingness to help us out whenever we'd call on him, regardless ofhow much of his own time it meant giving up. Mr. Dries stands out as one of those people who has shown an unlimited, genuine concern for.us as a class, and this has been demonstrated by his guidance these past four years. To Mr. Spinelli, we thank him for his deep concern and guidance. Not only did he help us tremendously with class activities such as car washes, bake sales and the prom, but he also helped us maintain a good financial stand by providing us with the opportunity to work at his father's motel. We greatly appreciate the work of Mr. Shattuck and Mr. Glass, who are already working hard at making graduation as enjoyable and memorable as possible. They have helped us enormously this past year alone with all the little, yet important things we,ve done as a class. To Mr. Montosi, we owe our thanks not only for his hard work with the seniors on the football team, but also for showing a great interest in the wel- fare of our class and all the people in it. To Mr. Argenziano, we thank him for his never ending friendship and willingness to do anything within his means to help us out whenever we needed it. We know we can always count on him because he truly cares about each individual student. He makes every effort to know and help ev- ery student in any way he can. Finally, we are greatly indebted to Emily Cavilla. She has shown us out- standing leadership abilities through these past four years as president. In our opinion, there has never been a class as lucky as ours to have a person such as Emily looking out for the best interests of everyone. The class of 1974 greatly appreciates the hard work of all these special people. Emily
