If MQ, , M egg Ormagene started out to be a doctor, and had become a 5322 QQ head surgeon in a local hospital, where she operated F? ' V' on broken hearts. This work finally got the best of 2 her, however, and now she is teaching at Silver Lake High, where the entire enrollment now reaches 7,000 bed pupils. Ormajene always did want to be an old maid Wolf school teacher, and the pupils say she makes a good Q ' substitute for Miss Kline, who resigned in 1949. 'w g Q2 2 9 ' Of course, Sylvester Allen wasn't able to be with Q1 us, for he is now in South America. He seems to be ,Wg doing quite well with his two coffee plantations and 'Q twenty women servants. He has gained the title of X 1, , onion king of the world, and is pleased with his increasing publicity. ge. Since I had been away from Silver Lake for so long Z2 everyone wanted me to tell them what had kept me so 5 W occupied for the last ten years, so I told them that Z after graduating I continued looking for a red head ,Z-,Q eight years more, but finally gave up and established gh gfwfl , an Old Maid's Society in Fort Wayne, of which two other , C Q ag? members of the Class of 1947 had since joined. After lunch we were favored with a speech from gm W Carl Sands. The subject was The Changes and Q ZW Z Improvements Within the Last Ten Years. Everyone W thought Carl was just the person to give such a speech fag after the way he had improved the Silver Lake Elevator, ZW ' following his father-in-law's retirement. was Yes, it's certainly true that Silver Lake has made 'Z a lot of changes in the past ten years, and it takes . 9 such pupils as are in the Senior Class of '47 to make such changes Possible.
