Completing the Booster Parade with a sec- ond place mark, Joe ttSantah Flanagan and Shannon ttDragonh Voyles headline the junior float which won hfty dollars. Right: Serving as members of the 86 Homecoming court were seniors Sheila Morris, Denise Bennett, Christy Densford, and Michelle Conroy. Christy received the crown at the December l3th Homecoming match against North Harrison. far right: Phyllis Grant reigned as the hqueen of suc- cess,, of the drama float built by members of the theatrical group. Portraying various areas of school interest were members of the drama club.

Capturing the $100 prize for first place. the sophomore class proved that underclassmen werenit unexperienced in construction or class enthusiasm. Sophomores nab SIOO for moving graveyard he old belief that age and experience coincide with being the best needs to be reconsidered! The sophomore class proved this bogus saying when they cap- tured the first place title in float competition on Saturday, November 23, at the Booster Parade. Sponsored by Mrs. Linda Tucker and Mrs. Missy Taylor, the group won $100, which was used for expenses as well as adding to their ,87 prom fund. iiA few from the class gave a lot of their time to receive the $100, prize. I was really pleased with their workf, stated Mrs. Tucker. The juniors proved to be stiff competitors, placing second for a $50 cash award, with the seniors ranking third. iil had a good idea we were go- ing to win.
