On the Threshold of a Dream With graduation drawing close, seniors met once more to recollect the highlights of the past four years. Senior Day included skits presented by each department, presentation of awards, and final farewells to underclassmen. President, Dusty Waiz, makes opening Senior Day. Commencement Brings End to Work and Fun As the class of 70 met together for the final time on May 26, there were mixed feelings felt by all. They realized that they would no longer function as a group, but as individuals in a world of flurried activity. Graduation does mark an end to work and fun but it also marks a beginning of a new and challenging life. k Dusty Waiz, president of the class of 70, gives the opening address at commencement exercises. In an air of anticipation, seniors make last minute adjustments before the program. As Jeannette Smith sang uThe Lordvs Prayer? the crowd, forgetting the excitement of the evening, paused in meditation.
