Jobs Await Hard-Working . . . Silver Creek business department launches many students on successful careers. It offers a wide selection in business education, beginning with General Business in the sophomore year. This is an introductory course into the field of business. Business typing goes hand in hand with short- hand, office practice, and bookkeeping. Office practice gives aid to students planning steno- graphic or secretarial positions. It is also helpful for students who plan to enter college. Another course within the business curriculum is shorthand, offered to iuniors and seniors. It teaches the skill of reading, writing, and transcrib- ing.
