Skills introduced in Math . . . Constructing polygons of all shapes, applying alge- braic equations, and using supplemental equipment to understand certain mathematical aspects enlighten the curious-minded mathematicians at S.C. The four year course of math offered at Silver Creek is excellent preparation for college bound stu- dents. For those not so mathematically inclined, general math is the basic foundation that prepares one for the business field. People are becoming more and more fascinated by the world of science. With new textbooks and modern Miss Maxine Johnson Mr. David Prather equipment the students at S. C. can learn the technique used by outstanding scientists in the dis- covery of miracle drugs and the development of complex machinery. Offered at S. C. are four years of science. Two ' L. years of biology makes one more appreciative of the marvels of everyday living. Chemistry opens up a world of color and mystery. The scientific principles, used in daily life and in space age techniques are learned in physics. Whether one desires to become a scientist or to work in an unrelated field, science enables one to: better understand the world around him and to have more enioyment out of living. ! I 14 .J 5 L.
