Ours is a world complex in its own. It is the root of a memory, a field of endeavor, a time of mixed emotions. In our world is the kind of material from which great things are made. It has not only an educational influence, but a religious and moral influence as well. In our world we be- come intricately involved in activities which serve as a way of broadening our minds while providing the opportunity to escape the constant struggle of scholastic achievement. Ours is a world continually challenging us. We must, if we are to succeed in our purpose, gain wisdom to understand and grace to fulfill our challenges. Your world outside is much like ours, and yet ours is days of learning; yours is days of teaching. We, as students, are in a pliant period in which character is being molded for your world. We, who entered this world twelve years ago, will soon be recalling fond memories. But our minds will be turned to new horizons ahead. We are, be- cause we must be, preparing during our twelve years for your world. After these short hours, days, years, and after all the classes, books, ball games, proms, tears, and laughter, this will no longer be our world. Just what is this world? Our World Is This . . .
