Besides field trips, agricultural films, and farm books and magazines, boys in agriculture have farm projects. Through this agricultural course, the boys become more efficient in farm- ing activities, gain interest in farming as a voca- tion, and learn about soil conservation. Everything from cedar chests to screw drivers are made in shop classes. Students are taught safety in the care and use of machinery and hand tools; safety not only for the machine, but also for the individual.
