SC. was just 12 wars old when several young men decided that nur high school needed an addition. 50, n ilh lhe aid of a government loan, a new gym building was erected in 1939 alongside the uriginal Silver Creek building. In the school war of 1954-55 the band room, biology lleml-zltunv. and industrial arts room was meI unto the north side of Silver Creek. During the school year of 1956-57, the gym- nasium and original S.C. building were juinwl hy the addition of the bookstore, home wmnnmirs laboratory. science room, lower halls. and luckers, and the principahs office. Vs mmlhnent increased, this was still not mmugh room. The talk of a new high school was lueing whispered throughout the com- munity Soon this talk became someone,s dream and was put into an idea on paper. Mm. one needs only to look to the horizon In we this dream as a reality. School spirit is displayed by students at a hallgame. We give recognition to those who help to broaden our boundaries.
