Throughout the year, Silver Creek High School stands as a symbol of youth and education. This crest, chosen only this past year to rep- resent our school hereafter, is one of four symbolic divisions. The flying wheel represents progress, the lamp of knowledge, wisdomg the olive branch, victoryg and the clasped hands, friendship. These symbols present the high ideals of our school for which all of us can strive. ln later years, when our mood is one of reminiscence, the memories of our carefree high school days Will rush back to us as We open our book of memoranda, the '58 edition of Silver Leaves.
