Hl-Y don't you check your coats?... The annual initiation of the new Hi-Y members aroused everyone's interest when surprised girls were awarded with kisses. The boys also carried out tro- dition by operating a coat and hot check at bos- ketball games. A first this year for the club was the act of honoring their senior members with sweat- shirts. Rogers, Mayfield, and Beck admire the new sweatshirts that were presented to them. Arthur Riehl, sponsor, helps the Hi-Y officers sort their cards for checking coats. The student librarians have had a prosperous year from selling of Vintex cleaning materials, which financed a field trip to the new library at the Uni- versity of Louisville. Also the Bookworms hove equipped our library with new plastic letters for the bulletin board, historical pictures, and magazine covers by the sole of these products. Pixley gives a book report, Fifteen by Cleary, to the Book- worm Club.
