THIS IS SILVER CREEK Silver Creek High School, first established in 1927, is 0 school that grows and progresses each year, aided by the continued hard work of the administration. Silver Creek was admitted to the North Central Association on April 12, during this school year. Sitting upon a hill overlooking Sellers- burg and Speed, it is a connecting link between the two small towns, binding them into a progressive community.

THE PLOT The School year of 1955-56 was a memorable one of Silver Creek. Amidst fhe buzz of sows 0nd clong of hammers our school grew. A new addition was added to our school which contained office space for the principal and vice-principol, science laboratory, foods' labora- tory and book store. We received 0 new principal, and assistant prin- cipal, and Mrs. Wheatley was in- stalled as girls' counselor while Mr. Corfner become boys' counselor.
