During that year we lost Paul Guernsey, Raymond Sink, and A1 lamer. Robert Dobbins quit to enlist in the Varines. Roy Ward, Charles Suddeth, Cyril Bowo, Vyra Caldbock, and Laverne Whitlock left us at the end of the semester. Jack Bocht, Juno Cleveland, and Myra Caldbeck entered the class that year. As dignified Seniors or are we dignified our membership dropped to 52. We selected as our sponsors Miss Standiford, Piss Grouse, and Mr. McBride. Our class officers were Darrell Killon, President, Jerry Steward, Vico-Prcsident, Virginia Giltncr, Soc- rctary, and Ritu'Wober, Treasurer. During our Senior year we had only one withdrawal. Raymond Sink entered tho business World. Pink and White were selected as our-class colors; the Pink Carna- tion as our flower; and Today'Tc Follow, Tomorrow We Load, was our motto. One of the main features of our Senior year was the class play directed by 1$8 Standiford. CLASS HISTORY 'Early one bright September morning, in tho year of 1943, we were ohrollod as 80 Green Freshmen. 'We soloctog as our class sponsors Mrs. Hyslopo and Mr. Cortnor. As our officers, wo oloca ted David Hinton, President, Carl NcMinowuy, Vico-Prosidont, and Patricia Willingham, Secretary and Treasurer. The following students left school during the Freshman year: Betty Hargoshimor, Ruth Hartling, Imogene Sampson, Enda Klooham- mcr, Carwin Huckleberry, Carl YcNinoway, and Raymond Prnthcr. Nazio Whitehousc entered from Now thhington during that year. To begin the Sophomore year, we chose Hrs. NcBrido on Mr. Cortner as our sponsors. Our officers wore David Diooh, Presi- dent, David Hinton, Vioe-Prosidont, Botty Rigglo, Secretary, and Martha Conaway, Treasurer. During that year we Pissed Wanda Filler, who moved to Louis- ville, George Popp, who rovcd to Bordon, Herbert Johnson, who rovcd to Now'Washington, Juno Cleveland, who moved to California, David Dicch, who moved to Evansville, Thongs Robbins, who entcrod Jeffersonvillo High School, and Charles Ornan, who entered the Navy. Teddy Anson not with an accident and withdrew from our class temporarily. Irogono Alexander, Mildred Pennington, and Iris Jackson quit school to start working. Violet Broadus left us to enter into the grout institution of natrivony. Virginia Giltnor, Al Kamor, and Jerry Steward ontorcd our class that year. We started our third year of high school with an enrollment of 59 Jolly Juniors. 'We welcomed to our class two returned serv- icemen, Rothard and Everett Snider. That year we chose Mrs. McBride and Mr. Cortnor as our sponsors. Our officers were Jerry Steward President, Betty Wells, Vico-Prosidont, and Eunico yao Adams, Secretary and Treasurer.
