The History of the Junior Class The Freshman Class of 1939-41 entered the Silver Creek High School with the enrollment of 71. During the year we lost four of out Classmates, Ruby Stapes, Mary Ruth Knable, Harold Creamer, and Donald Bangs. Our class sponsor was Mr. Regan and our class ofhcers were Evelyn Hinton, president, Roy Ward, secretary and treasurer. At the beginning of our Sophomore year, we had an enrollment of 66. We lost four of out classmates this year, Forrest Alexander, Millicent Ellerholz, Ella Mae Rheil, and James McCartin. Our class sponsor was Mr. Dold. Rosemary BottOth was elected president and Betty Famsley was secretary and treasurer. This year we have 56 members in our class. Our class sponsors are Mrs. McBride and Mt. Cortnet. The class ofhcets remained the same as last year. At the middle of the first semester, we had a new student, Ralph Hauselman from Charlestown, Indiana. 16
