Pww1paL's Message The school year 1969-70 has been a new experi- ence for all of us at Silver Creek High School. This yearbook holds numerous memories for me, the most rewarding of which are the contacts I have had with many students and the great spirit the student body has shown in getting a new school off the ground. In many ways the school has moved in the direction of the motto you chose, We Lead-Others Follow. It is 1ny sincere hope that the student body continues to build a school with that motto in mind and one that reflects the theme of this yearbook. For those of you who will be leaving us this year-thanks for the ex- perience and good luck. Lw EMMA M6081 Our liaison program was established to provide people on campus who can relate to and identify with the student in a relationship different than that of students with a teacher, counselor or administra- tion. The student can express their feelings to the liaison members, who in turn can communicate the students' point of view to the staff. In addition, the liaison groups, through their association with the community at large, are able to broaden understandings between school and com- munity. Silver Creek is truly fortunate to have such an outstanding group of Liaison people to work with us.
