I would like to take the opportunity to humbly thank all of those parents, coun- selors, teachers and administrators who have enthusiastically supported our Silver Creek High School Raider Band this year. The many meritorious achievements and awards which were won by the band reflect the cooperation of all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Bob Russell The band was involved in the following events and received awards in many of them. Parade of Champions, Columbus Day, S.J.S. Homecoming Game, Veterans Day Parade, Ballon Parade QSanta Clara Bandj Los Gatos Parade, Chinese New Years, Saint Patricks Parade, Golden Gate Parade, Milpitas Parade, Los Banos Parade, and nine half- time shows, pep rallies and one Waterpolo Championship. 45 Y The Honor J azz Band which Bob Russell Directs took a first in Reno Competition. Bob Benkelman directs the vocalists in front. Schools involved- Oak Grove, Silver Creek, Gavilan, DeAnza, Mt. Pleasant, Piedmont, Lincoln, Peterson, Willow Glen, Live Oak, Ayer, Lick.
