RETRCSPECT emember when we attended school for the fxrst tlme made our de but as actors and actresses as the Three Llttle p1gS our f1rst commer c1al enterprlzes the Klndergarten grocery store w1th Dean Elllott as General Manager the da1ly naps we used to take on rugs whlle llstenmg to the old vlctrola mus1c and then came Klndergarten graduatlon our 1n1t1al banklng experlence ln first grade our flrst reading asslgnment ln the Off We G book our defense measure ln second grade the purchaslng of war stamps and bonds learnlng to tell tlme also ln second grade our class adopted three new members ln thlrd grade our fashlon parade presented 1n the h1gh school four more eager students were added to our school 1n the fourth grade Carl Trewxler brought a cocoon to school and placed lt on the draw mg easel one mornlng about a week later we found a beautlful butterfly the bovs brought worms to school to make the glrls scream we came over to the h1gh school bulldlng to attend flfth grade It was our first adventure ln passlng classes 1n the slxth grade we presented the play Hansel and Gretel In seventh grade qulte a few members of the class of 52 attended LOIS Baysters blrthday party where we played Post Off1CC for the f1rst t1me SIX students were added to our class Janet Swanson gave our Engllsh teacher a t1e 1n appreclatlon of hxs effort on behalf of our class ln elghth grade we presented a play wxth the seventh grade entltled Wheres That lleport Card we were the last class to have formal elghth grade grad uatlon remember Freshmen 1n1t1at1on and the Kangaroo Court as our as sembly program we presented a one act play You Cant Fool Aunt ,lulla we sold school penclls seeds and sponsored two dances contlnulng our h1gh school career as Sophomores we sold basketball pms w1th the squads plctures on them presented an amateur show sponsored two dances platter and orcheatra as we became Junlors we began to realize the responslblllty we had ahead of our mam events of the year were our Junlor Prom, the Mlnstrel Show and two other dances then came our f1nal year ln Sllver Creek Hlgh School besldes our regular school 3CllVlIlBS we undertook the H1 Lltes and the H1 Tlm6S presented a play Take My AdVlC6 we remem ber the wonderful Semor Prom, the flrst to be held 1n the new grade school gym we also presented a record dance adm1tt1ng the Freshmen free, and a three hour soclal we 1n1t1ated the Freshmen and held our own Kangaroo Court we shall always remember the hlghhght of our Semor year the tr1p to New York C1ty flnally under the fme supervlslon of MISS McMullen and M Llndstrom we prepared ourselves for Class Nxght and Graduatlon the conclus1on of thlrteen happy years ln the Sllver Creek Publlc Schools I3 Oli! - as - - yy . lil!
