McKay, R. Gordon, J. Bielecki. MR. SELF and MRS. LEWIS The Lester D. Self F. T. A. Club named In honor of Mr. Self received its charter on February 16, 1953. Mr. Self ' s contributions to Sllsbee Schools as teacher or superintendent since 1926 certainly merited an organization of future teachers being named in his honor. The aims and objectives of the F. T. A. are to act as teacher assistants and to serve the school and community in any helpful way.
