The Student Secietaiies are girls in the Commeicial Depaitment who are striving to become better acquainted with all phases of office work. At the beginning of the year each teacher is assigned a student- secretary who performs any secretarial duty required by the teacher. Some of these duties consist of letter writing, alphabetizing and typ- ing class rolls and other lists, cutting stencils for tests, operating the duplicatory, typing the school newspaper, typing and assembling programs for plays and social functions.
