Of the two major projects for this year, the new one was the organization and devel- opment of a School Store, for the purpose of selling pupil supplies and used text books. The other major project was the third year continuation of our pupil supervised study lim bllksts halls. Many improvements have been made Viiiifplgiltle Pfeslde in this endeavor and it now appears that we esldent have attained a leveling off status and that study halls so supervised are here to be a permanent part and tradition of our school. Our Student Council had charge of all assemblies, including a series of four University of Kansas sponsored educa- tional programsgattended the Summer Work Shop at Arkansas State Teachers College, Conway, presented our bi-annual Assembly Program at Springdale, was host to the first of the two annual Student Council District Meetings, at which there were approximately two hundred in attendance, attended the second District Meeting at Fayetteville, and was the Student Council School District Secretary. . 2- ,gp-E Vickie Slmmirziief Roge' Dofsey Se cretaty 'Tfea Mrs. Russell ReP0rter Faculty Sponsor 92 Sponsored by GUY'S POTATO CHIPS 84 NUTS, Arnold Vance, Representative, Noel, Missouri 1 O3 - 'f fjrhf I ,, f'1 . In order to be eligible for consideration for membership in this high ranking organization, a pupil must be a second semester junior or a senior, and have maintained at least a B average throughout his academic high school career. Then, in addition to this scholastic attainment, a pupil also must be adjudged by the administration and faculty to be worthy as to leadership, service, and character. A goal to strive for, and a most worthwhile achievement for which a pupil may well be proud, is this fourfold mem- bership in The National Honor Society. O O 0 I I v ! .I Il QQ f,g f1 .. All Sam had to do was walk up to the entrance doors and someone was always eager to let him in. Everyone fed him at lunch time - no wonder Mr. Elliott complained that he wasn't a good hunting dog, anymore! Mr. Elliott says that Sam is happy, hunting out at their surburban home but we hope Mr. Elliott will reconsider and let Sam come back to school some time , We really do miss Sam, Doodle Roth Maverick Cloyd Luc ky Chamberlain b 4 Kilpie Russell Phonsie Stephenson Wiggles Peters Queeme R108 Dusty Osgood ,M Mamie Jamison fi S S f lg 5 .
