No day is really typical, but every day . is interesting andmost of them are happy. We study ¢ ---honestly we do; we learn---at least most of the time; we play---perhaps too often; and, now that school is almost over, we find that we cherish every : hour. We invite you to share with us a day at a place we love. - AND SURROUNDING US IS THE CONSTANT rea DEDICATION As an expression of appreciation for what she means to us, we, the Senior Class of '59, dedicate this volume of ''The Eagle to our advisor, teacher, and friend. Long after we have left the halls of Silk Hope, memories of our school days in Mrs. Mogle's homeroom will remain in our hearts. She has always been willing and even eager to give of her time and energy to make our years at Silk Hope more profitable. Words of encouragement when they are needed, expert guidance, and an unending sense of humor; these are only a few ways she will be remembered. It is with a sense of pride that we dedicate this annual to... Mrs. Edith G. Mogle. sed pow ran ae es m8 a Pie greece Gis 1 wine Ho ene a8 ARRIVING DAILY TO INSTRUCT US IS OUR FACULTY Mr. Fred H. ANNUAL STAFF The Eagle may look small to you, but it has been a big undertaking for us. The clicking of cameras, afternoons after school, bright inspirations, and endless typing----- all these went intothe making of our annual. We were pushed off'' from our August meeting at Mrs. Mogle's home; but even so, Billy Joe's car refused to co-operate. Fortu- nately, with the opening of school, events moved more smoothly and here it is----- an accomplished fact. Everyone has been most co-operative: Mr. Mrs. Jerome Johnson, who allowed us to use their lovely home for feature pictures; our advertisers, who were always courteous, and who usually said yes ; and our principal and teachers, who bore pic- ture-day disruptions with patience. fee CHEER UP, SENIORS!
