ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS The poor, wretched individuals in the picture above are the Business Managers and the Editor of the yearbook staff and they are relaxing after a hectic year of hurrying, scurrying, rushing, and just plain sweating it out trying to meet deadlines. A Great deal of work goes into the preparation of materials for a yearbook. Pictures by the hundreds must be taken, developed, and printed and then after our photographer, Georgellen Grossman has turned them in, she is often confronted with a statement such as, They aren't the right size, l'm sorry I forgot to tell you that we changed the lay- out. She sighs and returns to the darkroom, repeating over and over, I will not get mad . . . I will not get mad . . . Mr. Maxwell, who takes senior portraits and 12 group pictures is also greatly appreciated by all of us. Another vital member of the team is our advisor Mr. Berg - Omar, to us. He gives us much needed advice, helps us out when the deadline is about to choke us, and thoroughly checks everything before it goes to the printer, I hope that our Junior Editor, Loretta Thomas, can put next year's chieftain together with no maior catostrophies. And now I leave you with two kind words, which will express my appreciation to everyone who has helped me in any way with the successful publication of this year's Chieftain . . . thanks kids.
