Belles of 'rhe Month Each month Themesians presents a special honor to those girls vvho stand out in the crowd. She must be friendly, outgoing and show a great deal of school spirit. She must have good citizenship, good academic achievements, and a neat appearance. She must also represent Sierra at all times on campus as well as off. The last Belle chosen each year is the Belle of the Year. She must be a Senior and must have been a Belle once in her four years here at Sierra. She must have shovvn exceptional characteristics throughout her four years. This year's Belle of the Year is Laura Villanueva. She is 17 years old, has brunette hair and hazel eyes. She loves pizza, fries, and espe- cially ice cream. She enjoys listening to James Taylor, Chicago, and Kenny Loggins. She's been involved in Fall Follies, Ski Club, Class Council, Drama, Art, and is President ofthe Girls' League Cabinet and is a member of the 1978 Oracle staff.
