BAS Mr. Jim Naughton Coach The 1964-'65 Cee BaskeTball Team, under the direction of Mr. Jim Naughton, fought To gain a Tie with Pioneer for The Suburban League Title. The Team con- cluded The season with a league record of 12 wins and 2 losses. Coach Naugh- Ton praised The defensive play of cap- tain Bob Niemi and The scoring ability of guard Steve Bowman. DEE BAS PLACE This year's Dee Basketball Team was composed of all freshman boys. ln This, Their first TasTe of high school athletics, They played forcefully To capture fourth place in Suburban League play. Ron Ambrose averaged better Than 14 points per game during league play and established a new record for a Dee player when he scored 29 points against La Serna. Mr. Charles Course, The Team's new coach, said, The Team played well Together, and They gained valuable ex- perience that will help The Teams of Sierra in The future.
