Coptained by senior Sam Guye, the team was led by high point men Bob Peterson and John Donovan. Juniors Dave S t e p h e n s and George Moreno rounded out the starting five. BEE BAS LEAGUE IONQ The Bee Basketball team concluded the 1964-'65 season with an outstanding record of 22 wins and 2 losses, which brought them to the well-earned Sub- urban League Championship. Starting with their third pre-league game, the team established a remarkable record by beating every Suburban League team twice and ending the season after a win- ning streak of 21 games. The team aver- aged 61 points per game in league play. Led by Ron Kiskis, Bill Freymond, Jay Noble, Dave Niemi, and Don Rex, Coach Minier's club established a new often- sive and defensive record against Ken- nedy by holding the Fighting Irish to only 14 points, while they themselves scored 83 points. BAS Mr. Jim Naughton Coach The 1964-'65 Cee BaskeTball Team, under the direction of Mr. Jim Naughton, fought To gain a Tie with Pioneer for The Suburban League Title. The Team con- cluded The season with a league record of 12 wins and 2 losses. Coach Naugh- Ton praised The defensive play of cap- tain Bob Niemi and The scoring ability of guard Steve Bowman. DEE BAS PLACE This year's Dee Basketball Team was composed of all freshman boys. ln This, Their first TasTe of high school athletics, They played forcefully To capture fourth place in Suburban League play. Ron Ambrose averaged better Than 14 points per game during league play and established a new record for a Dee player when he scored 29 points against La Serna.
