They completed the practice season with a win-loss record of 6-4 and then they began league play with a win over John Glenn. The cagers then followed with a loss to Artesia, an exciting one point win over Pioneer, and wins over Monte Vista and La Serna. The rest of the season was exciting with Sierra winning over John Glenn, Monte Vista, and La Mirada, losing twice to Mayfair and once to Artesia, La Serna, and Pioneer. Despite the lack of an extremely impressive record, the team played very Well against such tough competitors as Mayfair and La Serna. The season was climaxed by Joe Perishos selection to the All-league team. Honors were also awarded to captain Bob Campbell, whom Coach Len Craven nominated as one of the all-time great guards to play at Sierra. l .I KJ ' 4 Joel Perisho Junior 2659 . A ..
