After a decisive victory over Monte Vista, the Bees finished the season by taking third place in the Suburban League, with an overall record of four wins and five losses. Bee coaches Paul Ward and Jim Snowden whipped together a hard working team with quarterback Dennis La Brie passing and freshman end Mike Keeler receiving. On defense, Dick Schoensiegel, Tom Karnes, and John Lewis highlighted the Spartan line under the leadership of co-captains Jim Satterberg and Charles Stoughton. Defeating Monte Vista 34'o, the Cees ended the season in second place in the Suburban League, with an overall record of six wins and three losses. Coach Eugene Leach has turned out a spirited team to fill the vacancies left in the Bee and Varsity teams by graduating Spartans. The experience gained by the Cees this year will be invaluable to them when they play football in the future.
